How can I leave the room without ending the event for everyone else?

As long as there is an active Host or Presenter in the Live Event room, Business Hangouts will keep the room active.

Once the last Host or Presenter leaves the room, then the event will be over. You can also read this article for more information: How do I end the event for everyone else in the room?
